Sue Collins
As a thirty something mum of two, Sue has many influences in her writing. Homelife,
as well as her work as with children, plays a great part, although some of the
success does go down to her imagination and natural humour. Another influence is
finding interesting and exciting ways to help her children, to learn both at home and
at school.
Despite a long interest in writing, Sue hasn't had any of her work published (yet),
mainly due to her status as a 'closet writer' for many years. Had it not been for a
push from her family, Sue's biog may not even be here!
The encouragement from her family gave her the confidence to make the call,
following an advertisement she had seen. Sue admits it has been a big step reading
her work out in front of people, but she says she has surprised herself and really
enjoyed it.
