Scribbler Factfile: Mike Gillingham

Mike was a senior lecturer at a London University and took early retirement in 2002. He is the co-author, (with Ken Lysons) of a widely adopted text-book, Purchasing and Supply Chain Management – 6th edition. As well as being published in English, it was also translated into Russian and Chinese Mandarin. He has also had a number of academic articles published, covering such topics as The World Trade Organisation, Negotiating Abroad and International Purchasing and Supply Chain Management.

Mike is interested in writing material of a humorous/satirical nature. On a serious note, Mike has also undertaken commissions for technical writing.

Mike is currently working on a political novel with a humorous theme, which he hopes to complete in 2010. He is also keen to develop his interest in travel writing.
