Jo Robson
Jo was born in Kent just before the Second World War. A mother of three grown up
children and three grandchildren, she lives with her now retired husband in Cold
Norton.
She joined the WRNS on her eighteenth birthday and worked as a secretary in an oil
company in Libya, where she met her husband John in the early 60s through a joint
love of sailing.
She took her teacher's certificate and taught playgroup courses in the early
eighties and changed to teaching needlecrafts. She has always dabbled in poetry and
writing short stories with some published. At present she is working on her memoirs
of running the local playgroup.
